Artwork Guidelines

Great merchandise starts with great artwork.

High-quality artwork is the foundation of exceptional branded merchandise. Supplying print-ready files helps us reproduce your logo with maximum clarity, colour accuracy and consistency across every product.

Whether you’re ordering apparel, promotional products or custom packaging, our team will review your artwork before production and let you know if any adjustments are needed.

Browse the guidelines below to prepare your files, or simply send us what you have—we’re always happy to help.

General Print-Ready Artwork Requirements

To ensure the highest quality results across all Danzo branded products, all artwork submitted must meet our standard artwork preparation requirements. Properly prepared files help us achieve accurate colours, sharp details, and smooth production processes.

All artwork should be supplied as a high-resolution, print-ready PDF, AI, EPS, or SVG file wherever possible. Vector artwork is strongly recommended for logos, text, and graphics to ensure the best reproduction quality across all printing and embroidery methods.

Artwork should be supplied in CMYK colour mode or include approved Pantone (PMS) colour references for accurate colour matching.

RGB artwork may experience colour shifts during production. Please convert all RGB elements to CMYK before submitting final artwork.

For embroidery and specialty printing, Pantone references are recommended to achieve the closest possible colour match.

To prevent missing font issues or unexpected text changes, all fonts must be converted to outlines / curves / paths before exporting your final artwork file.

All raster images, photos, and graphic elements must be supplied at a minimum resolution of 300 dpi at final production size wherever possible.

Low-resolution images may appear pixelated, blurry, or unsuitable for printing and production.

Please provide artwork at the correct production size and include clear placement instructions where required, such as:

  • Logo dimensions (W × H)
  • Print location (left chest, back, sleeve, front panel, etc.)
  • Embroidery or print specifications
  • Any special finishing requirements

For apparel and merchandise, please ensure artwork proportions are accurate to avoid distortion during production.

All linked images and design elements must be fully embedded within the artwork file.

Please remove any unnecessary:

  • Crop marks
  • Registration marks
  • Hidden layers
  • Unused elements

unless specifically requested by our production team.

Different decoration methods require different artwork specifications.

Please refer to the artwork guidelines below for specific production methods:

  • Embroidery: Vector artwork preferred. Avoid extremely fine details and small text. Minimum text height recommendations may apply.
  • Screen Printing: Vector artwork with separated colours is required for multi-colour prints.
  • DTF / Digital Transfer: High-resolution artwork with transparent background is recommended.
  • Laser Engraving: Vector artwork with clean outlines is required.
  • UV Printing: High-resolution vector or raster artwork accepted depending on product requirements.

For detailed artwork requirements, please refer to the Artwork & Setup section on each product page or contact our team for assistance.
